Memorial Day Weekend - Fishing in Rhinelander

Trisha, Damien, and I met my family at Kafka's Resort in Rhinelander, WI. It has become a tradition over the years that we meet my parents, brother and sister-in-law, uncle, aunt and family at a cabin resort on a lake in northern Wisconsin. Trent Graduated from Law School!

Andy and I had the opportunity to travel to Williamsburg, VA to celebrate my brother, Trent, graduating from William & Mary School of Law in mid-May. It was a great weekend...we are so proud of Trent!

Happy 1st Birthday, Damien!

Today is Damien's 1st Birthday. It's hard to believe that Andy and I were in the hospital at this time a year ago, waiting for our little boy to make his appearance at 2:39 in the afternoon. Click here for Damien's birth story! Awww, memories...

Anyway, Damien has grown up so much in the last year, and we can't believe how many new things he does every day. He is now starting to walk (he can walk half way across a room) and feeds himself "real food". His favorite foods seem to be cheese and bread, so he has a lot of "sandwiches"! He is even becoming much more vocal and is quite good at making his needs known.

On Saturday, the 17th, Damien had his first birthday party and enjoyed his first piece of cake. Below are some photos from his special day.

The weather has been beautiful this week, so Damien and I have gotten outside for some walks and time at the park. Below are some pictures of his first time trying out the swings.

Damien Has an Announcement

Standing Up!

Damien started pulling himself up to a standing position in mid-January, but now he's standing everywhere and getting himself into trouble! He can stand for a few seconds without holding onto anything, and he's starting to try walking behind his little push-walker thing.
