12 Weeks!

On Tuesday, July 14th, Damien was 12 weeks old, which meant that my maternity leave was over! Wow, that went fast. I went back for my first day (only a half day) on Wednesday and will be working all weekend. It's definitely strange to be away from my little guy!

Andy's 27!

Andy's birthday was yesterday, July 12th, and we had a beautiful weekend to celebrate it! On Saturday we celebrated by spending the afternoon in Milwaukee with Andy's brother, Steve, and sister-in-law, Deanna. On Sunday we had both sets of parents over to have a grill out at our apartment. Andy says now that he is 27, he is "definitely old".

Time Flies

When people say time flies by when you have a little one, they're definitely right. Damien's only 11 weeks old, and I already can't remember him being so small!

First Fourth!

Damien was busy on his first 4th of July! In the late morning we went to the zoo (Damien's second time in a week!) with Grandpa B, the Stars (great aunt and uncle), and Jill and Caitlin Holloway. We then had a BBQ lunch at Famous Dave's and drove out to Columbus to spend some time with Papaw and Grammy Hebert. We grilled out and ended up watching the fireworks from the house since Damien wasn't too happy (it was his bedtime).

Concert on the Square

In the continued effort to get Damien in on the Madison traditions that we enjoy so much, Damien went to his first Concert on the Square on Thursday, July 2nd. Damien slept through the 1812 Overture complete with cannon shots, but I still think he enjoyed it!

Nose Dive!

Today during tummy time, Damien seems to have spit up. Below is the result...

Lions and Tigers and Bears!

Today Damien and I went to the Henry Vilas Zoo with Kaelyn, her son, Ethan, and our friend, Kelly. It was Damien's first time to the zoo, and he seemed to be especially amused by the trees...maybe next time he'll like the animals! :)
